About What is Yadokari ?
YADOKARI
Weisse korallen-Sandstrände, smaragdgrünes Meer und farbige tropische Fische, Blaue Himmel, gutes Essen und freundliche Leute.
Auf den traumhaften Inseln in südlichen Japan, Tokashiki, Okinawa habe ich viele Yadokari gesehen.
Es sind Einsiedelnkrebse und wechseln ihr Haus, wenn sie wachsen.
Wie Yadokari habe ich mein Haus von Japan nach Amerika und in die Schweiz gewechselt. Deshalb sind sie meine Symbolfiguren geworden.
Die Ideen meiner Kompositionen basieren zum Teil auf den Motiven dieser Inseln: 'Flying fish' ist der Fisch, der schnell und kräftig über den dunkel-blauen Wellen fliegt. 'Sound of the deep sea' ist mein Ausdruck von Respekt für die einzigartige grossartige zauberhafte Natur des Meeres. 'Yadokari' ist natürlich meine lustige Hauptfigur. 'Gratitude' drückt herzliche Dankbarkeit für meine Familie und die alle meine Freunde auf der ganzen Welt aus.
Musik macht uns glücklich. Ich hoffe, dass die Zuhörer/innen diese Freude auch empfinden !
YADOKARI
White coral beaches, emerald-green seas, and colorful tropical fish, blue skies, good food, and friendly people. On the dreamy islands in southern Japan, Tokashiki, Okinawa, I saw many Yadokari.
They are hermit crabs. They change homes as they grow. Like Yadokari, I changed homes from Japan to America and Switzerland. This is why they became my signature character.
The ideas for my compositions partly came from the image of this island:
'Flying fish' is the fish that flies fast and powerfully on the dark blue waves.
'Sound of the deep sea' is my expression of respect for the unique, immense, sublime and beautiful natural world in the sea.
'Yadokari' is, of course, the funny main character. 'Gratitude' expresses heartfelt gratitude for my family and all my friends around the world.
Music makes us happy. I hope my music also brings joy to the listeners!
